Winter Walks & Takeaway: Mushrooms, Fungi and Mycelium

Our way of celebrating the wonders of winter and the festive season at this tricky time.
Join us for a series of guided walks around Hospitalfield grounds, after dark and during the day as we discuss the moon and astronomy, the intricate stone carvings of Hospitalfield’s architecture and the complex world of mushrooms and fungi.
At the end of each walk you will be able to takeaway delicious food cooked in our kitchen at Hospitalfield by chef Simon Brown. Menus are inspired by the topics of each walk.
Join us for a walk around the grounds of Hospitalfield, exploring the woodland, paddock and paths learning about fungus, mushrooms and the mycelial network that creates the wood wide web.
