Comedy Night at Wee Bear Cafe

This year, Wee Bear has teamed up with premier comedy promoters Front Tier Comedy to add comedy to the list of events at the café.

12^th April sees Scottish comedy royalty in the guise of Phil Differ. Phil has been involved as writer, producer and director in many of Scotland’s most iconic TV and radio programmes, Only An Excuse, Naked Video, Rab C. Nesbitt, City Lights, Scotch and Wry, The Ferguson Theory, Chewin’ the Fat and Still Game.  As a stand-up performer, he has been acclaimed as “the quiet genius of Scottish comedy” by Rory Bremner.

Opening the show will be Britain’s Got Talent standout contestant, Cubby. Cubby’s performance is a truly remarkable spectacle that should not be missed. A blind performer, his energetic delivery and unique perspective on life will have you laughing sore!

Former Scottish comedian of the year finalist, Scott Forbes, from Montrose, is also on the bill with his quick wit and straight-to-the-point humour.

Hosting the event will be Michael Herd, experienced Scottish stand-up comedian and founder of Front Tier Comedy.
