Fresh, seasonal, local produce is everywhere in Angus – at our regular farmers’ markets, in our extensive selection of restaurants and cafes, and in our delicatessens, grocers, butchers, fishmongers, and farm shops.
From local lamb, beef, and pork to freshly-caught seafood, juicy soft fruit, and world renowned asparagus, even vodka, gin, and whisky made from the crops in our fields… It’s little wonder this area has gained a reputation for providing the very best of Scottish produce.
We also have a few local delicacies we’re very proud of, including Arbroath Smokies, Aberdeen Angus Beef, and Forfar Bridies.
