The beautiful sandy bay of Carnoustie is nestled below the celebrated Carnoustie Championship Golf Course, host to The Open on several occasions.

Steps and a slipway for the local boat club allow easy access to the beach while the adjacent Leisure Centre offers superb sports facilities alongside outdoor tennis courts and car parking.

To the back of beach is the Sandy Sensation Adventure Play Area which offers a paddling pool, climbing frames and other playground equipment.

A stone’s throw from the bay are the Rest Gardens.
