Commonwealth War Graves Tours – Montrose

Join us for a tour of Montrose (Sleepyhillock) Cemetery.
Our tours are free to the public, but if you would like to support us then please consider donating to our charity The Commonwealth War Graves Foundation (CWGF).
MEETING POINT at the main gates, there will be directions from the road.
The cemetery contains service plots of both wars here (the majority of which are 1939-1945). Most of these graves are of airmen and there is a special RAF plot in the south-eastern part of the cemetery, near the lodge. There are now nearly 40, 1914-1918 and nearly 100, 1939-1945 War casualties commemorated in this site.
Parking available; no on site facilities; paved pathways and undulations.
Please come dressed for the weather as it can be very windy on site.
