The Three Inch Fools present Romeo and Juliet

The Three Inch Fools take to the road with five actors, all manner of musical instruments and an inventive take on Shakespeare’s most famous story, Romeo & Juliet.

The Fools are dusting off their instruments and stepping back into the great outdoors, with a brand new production of Romeo & Juliet. Prepare for a carnival of passion and imagination, as The Fools present the world’s best-known love story at Glamis Castle. This romantic epic will be getting the full Three Inch Fools treatment: live music-making, deft physicality and vibrant story-telling. Expect fast-paced drama, plenty of musical instruments and many a quick costume change along the way.

The Three Inch Fools are an innovative touring theatre company acclaimed for their fast-paced and musically driven approach to theatre. They have built a reputation for staging bold and vibrant productions – a fast-paced, musically-driven style, using all sorts of different instruments, plenty of multi-roling and many a quick costume change along the way. For each production, they create a completely original musical soundtrack collaborating with rising star composer Stephen Hyde. The Three Inch Fools soundtrack moves between folk music and world music to classical, rock, pop and opera – and everywhere in between!
