Monikie Angling Club provides fly fishing for brown and rainbow trout in two ponds – they’re known as ponds but are huge loch-size stretches of water – the Island Pond and the North Pond. The bailiff’s hut (complete with tea, coffee and microwave facilities) is located beside the Island Pond.

Boats are available to members and visitors including visiting clubs. Boats can be booked by calling the Bailiff hut on 01382 370300.

Anglers are welcome to use their own electric outboard motors, but none are available for hire.

Please note it is fly fishing only. No bank fishing is permitted. Only club boats can be used, and no anchoring is permitted. Also, anglers must wear lifejackets, provided by the club, at all times while on the water.

Parking, including two disabled bays, is available beside the hut.
